Interactive Flash Developer - Harman/Becker International (May 2010 to Current)

  • Programmed embedded systems software (using Actionscript, QNX framework, and Flash Lite) for 2012 model-year Toyota vehicle infotainment/navigation system
  • Responsible for managing functionality and use-case scenarios for a range of system screens, including phone, PIM (contacts and data), SMS, email, calendar, and setup screens
  • Coordinated development efforts with a team using collaborative version-control software (Perforce)
  • Utilized DBUS communication protocols to integrate Actionscript-driven layouts asynchronously through signals and event listeners to multiple services and APIs, such as Bluetooth connections, hands-free phone, TTS (Text-To-Speech), navigation, and persistency (both FRAM and database)

  • Handled production for an episode of the Batman Onstar Challenge, an online adventure designed to inform viewers of the features of Onstar in an entertaining and clever format
